Over/Under Points: Reading Pace in EuroLeague and NBA
A total is the combined points the bookmaker expects. EuroLeague games usually land between 150 and 170 points, NBA games between 210 and 240.
Pace is the number of possessions per game. Two fast teams push totals up; two slow, defensive teams push them down.
Check rest days. Teams on the second night of a back-to-back usually shoot worse late in games, which favours the under.
